Monika Sosnowska
Monika Sosnowska is known for her large-scale installations that challenge the boundaries between sculpture and architecture. Her works portray the dialogue between physical space and the emotional experience of it. She often starts with traditional building materials such as rebar, concrete, or steel beams and creates deformed structures that can appear crushed, unstable, or completely collapsed. Sosnowska frequently references historical buildings and conveys stories of societies in transition. Through her unique visual language and her use of architecture as an artistic material, Monika Sosnowska has established herself as one of the most prominent contemporary artists from Europe.
